SCOPE REDUCTION: Value engineering consists mainly of non-programmatic changes. Items removed from the schematic design scope include new roofing, vinyly siding, and windows, none of which will be possible at this time. Millwork quality has been lowered from original specifications and the amount of earthwork, paving etc. has been reduced. Cubbies are being donated and refurbished as opposed to purchased. Removing certain HVAC redundancies offers a major potential savings to bring project back on budget. These options are currently under review.
